Will our drives to Orlando be affected by Hurricane Idalia?
Posted by Phillytiger9

Path looks to be right in track of the route from Baton Rouge to Orlando. Hopefully closures do not affect our men from getting their boots on the ground in Orlando.

Haha get it

There is absolutely zero way of knowing that until the storm hits.
But you knew that already.

You should fly. Who wants to spend ~20 hours on the road over a holiday weekend?

quote:completely agree. Not only the time wasted in the car, but gas and depreciation on the vehicle will likely be more than the cost of a plane ticket. Not to mention the HUGE time savings and convenience.

If someone can afford to pay for the game ticket and the hotel room, they should be able to afford airfare.

The news said many gas stations were found to have diesel in their gas so beware.

I'm leaving in Friday for Orlando. Hopefully its long gone by then.
Could destroy some stuff but hopefully not to bad that it affects the game and the lead up to it.

All of you people driving down there should bring some water and non perishable food to the area and drop it off

Depends on whether or not you drive through an affected area

Looks like the worst part of it will be between Tallahassee and Gainesville and points south.

You need an EV. Never mind it takes gas to produce electricity.
