So what the frick?
You single out early season games with lots young players gettingvreps and seasoned vets sittings on the bench with injuries.
shite happens.

LSU was a 10x better team end year as thy were at the beginning.
Even my 14 yr old instagram Facebook obsessed niece knows that.

That's why they lost to Notre Dame?

How lucky for ND that they didn't sit around for a month before playing us.

did Notre Dame have a month layoff? Whose fault was it that the team wasn't ready to play?

I haven't read the whole thread, so someone may have said this already. I don't hate Coach O. I do hate that he is the coach. If someone offered me the job, I would do it the best way I know how and that's what he is doing. He's just not qualified for the position.

O is the wrong fit for LSU. He knew that less than two weeks into his summer Freshman workout's with the Tigers. I don't get why he doesn't understand that now. I think he really believes his own bs.

Did you surmise that from the 0 points scored in the first half? The defense is the only reason we were in that game at all/

Wonder how the D would have played if 0 bad the balls to go for the TD on fourth and goal rather than kicking the FG.

didn't have a problem with any teams game prep last year. We looked prepared and played hard. Defense will be solid next year and if we can get good qb play and stay healthy we'll be solid football team.

See, this is yet another thing the O pumpers don’t understand. Even if O is capable of what all you boys HOPE he’s capable of, motivating his players, it’s not enough. Being the HC requires a lot more then just motivating his players. Those other things are what O was feared to fail miserably at. So far he’s not doing so well in those areas.

Missed the first half of the season I guess. This was one of the worst prepared teams playing on day one. Some played hard. A lot of the time it seemed like the only one who cared was 40DW.

I wouldn’t say most hated. Well, depends on how he acts over the next year or two. Hating O for being a bad coach is like hating your cat for not being a bird dog.

when Curley was the coach we didn't have social media like we do today. so you can't compare the two

Curley didn't need to hire a convicted felon to create many alters on LSU message boards saying the head coach is the best around and winning championships when he's failing miserably.
