Seems like in the contract there should be verbiage that the player loses value in NIL deal if unable to play.

Don’t delete me again you bastards!

They can put anything they want in their contract. Up to the kid to sign it.

I mean technically they can't.

I could see some sort of rolling deal however where a players value is based on social media hits year after year and if they get less hits, they get less money. You would think if a player wasn't playing, they would get less social media hits.

The value of NIL contracts is nothing compared to a first round (particularly top 5) nfl draft pick money

. Why, if I am a business owner and I sign a player to NIL you can bet your arse their will be language in the contract stating if said player quits the team the contract is voided.

Just make it a week-to-week deal.

That's pay for play, which is specifically against the rules.

nil money is going to benefit someone like Bryce Young especially if he wins the Heisman and has more eligibility left

NIL & playing time have nothing to do with each other once a deal is signed.

The NIL value is with the kids brand & social media influence. If a kid is good enough to opt out, he’s most likely already built a brand for himself whether he plays for his college team or not.
