Will Les Miles be a part of honoring the 2007 National Title team this season?

I don't believe any announcement has been made on what game it will be, but at some point, LSU will honor the 2007 National Title team this year at a game.
Really hoping Les Miles is a part of that. I'm fairly certain LSU would invite him and I'm sure he would accept.
He handled his dismissal as well as any I can ever remember. He's publicly still cheered on LSU and hasn't uttered one negative thing about the program.
Him attending Jamal Adams press conference went a long way with making any amends that were needed I would think.

Absofrickinglutely.
Les is the man and did a lot of great things at LSU and was always a top notch ambassador and human being.

The student section will go nuts if he attends. (in a good way)

Well he was the HC so I would hope he's a part of it. That was a fun season despite the two triple overtime losses.

I heard the meal honoring the 2007 team will be held at Dinardo's Restaurant with bbq provided by Gary Crowton.

Absolutely, and I'm sure he will attend. A more interesting scenario will be once Saban retires and a milestone anniversary occurs of the 2003 team (e.g., 20 year), should he attend. I say yes to inviting, and he should graciously decline, perhaps sending a taped message.

Saban should be honored, should attend and get a standing ovation to rival the earthquake game. Where would LSU football be right now without Nick Saban?

Well, without him at Bama, we would probably be on top of the world...

Hard to say because we have also suffered due to him being at Bama.

Well, if Saban hadn't come to LSU at all, we might still be having losing seasons every year and no 03 or 07 championships to celebrate. He deserves a LOT of credit. People just like to hate on him for chasing his dream and then not thinking of LSU when that dream failed.

One day both coaches should be properly honored for their contributions to LSU football

True. Or we might have made another great hire and won anyway. Dinardo brought the magic back. LSU was a sleeping giant.. ready to open up the checkbook to be great. Hard to say what would have been.

That is true, DiNardo just couldn't sustain it. All I'm saying is that I can vividly remember those nights in Tiger Stadium during the losing seasons. Then, we LSU started to rise a little bit and i remember looking in the advocate at the top 25 poll, except instead of starting at number 1 to look for LSU, I started at the "others receiving votes." Nick Saban changed that and I will be forever grateful.

I thought LSu recruits itself and any coach could win here? Things sure have changed around here lately.

No, most people despise him because of the way he left LSU and his players.
But, when they honor the 2003 team, he should be invited and should come. We will see if either happens.

They need to honor the 2007 team during the Auburn game, because it's the biggest home game.

You should wipe your face, you got a little Saban on it.
