Will Derek stingley vs Jerry Jeudy be similar to Peterson vs Julio Jones?

Ik Jeudy has two years of experience on stingley but In terms of talent and obvious future nfl stardom I their matchup will be as exciting as watching Patrick Peterson vs Julio Jones.

Julio won that matchup! Damn PP7 cramps...

I was just thinking of that when I read Julio extended with the Falcons. He was the best receiver I had ever seen play against LSU. Mad respect for Julio

Slightly off topic but Bama has had some incredible receivers.

Julio
Amari Cooper
Calvin Ridley
Jeudy

I remember in 2014 watching Amari Cooper with the ball and him and Leonard Fournette are two of the only players where it just looked like they were going to be impossible to tackle anytime they got into space. I remember being shocked how fast he moved for his size.

ETA: Cooper still holds all their single season and career records. I thought some people on here had said Ridley had surpassed him.

A lot of the game stingley matched on on Johnson I think stingley is the most athletic corner on the team I see him getting the bulk of the snaps against Jeudy

Totally different because the Bama offense is so different. They move Jeudy all over the place with their formations and motions so we won't be able to just stick Stingley on him the whole game.

This stat line and the game itself is totally different if Peterson didn’t get absolutely hosed.

Fulton looked very beatable last Saturday night. Very. Is he really 100% healthy?

No. Jeudy will prevail. Hopefully less than other games.

He was pretty much held in check in 09. That TD and yardage case off 1 long play where I think Brandon Taylor was in coverage

If Fulton is on Jeudy it’ll be a long night. Not because he isn’t good enough but he isn’t as fast or quick as sting

I don't think so, Julio was Bama's only big threat receiver and that isn't really the case with the current offense.

ETA: Sorry, thought I was on the SECRant, I'll see myself out

But Fulton is the CB that the rant has decided sucks this year. We knew it was going to be somebody, and Stingley's almost interception ruled him out. This means every catch allowed by Fulton will result in 5 threads, letting everyone know how terrible he is.

Actually it was Jai Eungene iirc who had come in for a play for PP7 when Julio took the short pass the distance
