He’s definitely deserving of it if he wants it. Who else would get it? Delpit?

Strangely enough, they both wear #9 right now.

Delpit can have #7, if he can keep his head up and stop getting thrown out of games

Rather Burrow keep #9 and have someone else sport the 18.

We need to stop talking about giving existing players on the roster #7. It's just a coincidence that the last 4 players to wear it were really good. That # belongs to Stingley. 18 belongs to Joe 1000%

Rashard Lawrence would be a good 18

Prefer 9 x 2 since he will be two times better next year

Jesus. Stingley wants 24. He will wear 24. He's always worn 24.

Was it stingley or another incoming guy who said they will earn number 7?

Chicken needs a Romper Room Board for the 7 & 18 threads.

That's a tradition that needs to die.

Let the players have their own identity.

It's the dumbest, most lame thing we do.

I feel like Joe has earned it. No disrespect to any of the other players, but Joe is a Tiger. He can name his number IMO. Also, would like to see a QB wear 18 again

Burrow, Phillips, Jefferson, Delpit, Divinity, Lawrence, Carter would all be good choices

Please no, I would hate to have to retire #18 after he takes us all the way next year.

Delpit can have #7

FALSE, if D. White comes back for his senior season no one but him can "have" #7

Hell he even eluded to him wearing #7 next year in a tweet a few weeks / a month back.
