Why would the SEC front office want us to lose?

Because the blue bloods and the conference itself don't like a coach coming in with the attitude and bravado that Wade has.
Hell, look at how much Bruce Pearl has been neutered the last couple of years at Auburn. He's nowhere close to the outspoken, fired up coach he was at Tennessee and his first couple of seasons at Auburn.

Bama runs this League and the LSU hate/envy is strong.

There is a large hatred for LSU and Will Wade.
shite even women's basketball got shite on by the Head Coach for South Carolina by saying Fargas would still be here if LSU gave her the same support we are showing Mulkey. Like that is one of the most ignorant comments to make but that just shows the hatred for LSU runs pretty deep among the League in both women and men basketball.
