Why will Michael Jordan be presenting Kim Mulkey at this weekend’s Naismith Hall of Fame

Mulkey said she had hoped her former coach and boss at Louisiana Tech, Leon Barmore, could do it. However, he has been dealing with illness and couldn't travel.
It's required that presenters be Hall of Famers themselves.

Welcome to being a sports fan. In this age players and coaches move too often to hold a grudge if they take over your schools job. I despise Urban Meyer and would be against hiring him if given the chance but if he came here and won like he has everywhere else then I could learn to deal with it. These aren't the sports of our fathers and grandfather's anymore in terms of loyalty.
