Why was the hit on Burrow not targeting...

I thought when you led with or lowered your helmet regardless of where you made contact that it would be targeting???

It wasn’t targeting. It was a great hit, honestly.

He didn't hit with the crown of the helmet. It was a good no call.

Last year it most certainly should have been with what they called on White, but I think he pulled up partially at the end, and didn’t launch. Even though he did lead with his head, which certainly wasn’t necessary and definitely could have been avoided, they weren’t going to call that in that game.
Would have been nice for a revenge targeting call though.

He pulled his head/neck back and drove with his chest more than anything. Was a very clean hit and a very hard hit. It was pretty much textbook of how you can legally land a hard hit on a QB these days.

It was high on a qb and he launched/left his feet. Engaged with head down. It could have been called roughness due to him not letting up in anyway. I’ve seen targeting called for less.
