Herman to Texas is not a done deal. Why not wait and see if Herman was still a possibility? Was somebody gonna steal O if we didn't promote him today?

I thought the story was that Herman wanted $6MM a year and LSU wasn't willing to pay

According to reports, Herman's people called early this am so they could see Texas's offer. Joe told them "no thanks, I have a man who wants the job."
