Why not play 2 today?

Both Southern Miss and Ole Miss have scheduled double headers for tomorrow due to a 100% chance of heavy rainfall Sunday.
Just saw this tweet and it reads as if Mainieri doesn't want to play 2. It's essentially guaranteed it's going to rain most of the day Sunday.

You can thank ESPN. It's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon, so you can't start a game that will have to be interrupted by the ESPN TV game at 6:30 tomorrow night.

On post game show, PM said because the Sat night game is on ESPN, they could be in a situation where they start the first game tomorrow afternoon, it gets rain delayed, and then they have to start the next one for TV, when they haven't finished the first one. Or something like that...!

So possibly ESPN is gonna handcuff both teams to only playing one game this weekend. If so it's a DAMN shame.

Sorry to sound dumb but is gymnastics that big of a deal at LSU to affect baseball game time or attendance.

You have to staff gymnastic events and its the ncaa tournament so they'll probably have around 8 thousand people there.

It's a regional with LSU, Kent State, Stanford, Auburn, Arizona, and Iowa State. I assume it's a big deal.

As much as it doesn't make sense to not play 2. If this is true then I can get behind. Cohen is a jackass.
