Some of our fans are obsessed with youth. We were the best offense in the history of college football. If there were so many capable young guys, they would have already been making history.

Because this ain't a soap opera or reality TV. This is real world and a coach with a proven track record is what he went with.

Because apparently the HC doesn't want another PGC that may leave for a better job in a couple of years.

I don't know exactly what's wrong with that when you're getting elite coaching talent. That's the price to pay for being great.

We did last year and he left after one season. I wants stability, which is obvious when you see most of his hires are older guys

If you keep identifying young talent what's the problem if they leave every 1-2 years?

Do you know how hard it is to recruit when the coach changes every year? Not to mention that these moves are never 100% success rate.

I don't care how old he is. However, he has not had much success recently. I will trust O because he has earned it, but I am skeptical.

If the talent was so easy to identify, Joe Brady would have been scooped up as an nfl OC long before he got to us.

In case you haven’t noticed Orgeron is going to go with the best available. He has lived up to his promise so far

Why not worry about it until you get ulcers?

A young OC would jump ship in a heartbeat at the end of a successful season. I don't blame O for hiring a coach that nobody wants just like himself.

I agree. The actual OC is very mediocre without someone that is elite to help him

Usually young guys need opportunities.

Because they’re young .

Joe Brady will be ready to come home and take over as OC and HCIW by then, especially if he gets stuck with Cam Newton for a few seasons

If you think E was the best OC available, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. So you hire an OC no one else wanted and supplement him with an OC that no one else wanted. Underwhelming.

Well we won’t find out this year.

How many unemployed NFL offensive coaches are leading elite college teams right now?
