I know he filmed a movie in Tiger Stadium. What’s his connection to LSU otherwise?

He's from Bogalusa...you live in Louisiana your connected to LSU.
Update: I know he's lived in Bogalusa, but you're right on Afton.
Also made a film at LSU as an LSU Player.
We've also had a lot of people on Gameday...running out maybe.

I think he is, or was, married to a woman from New Orleans and lived there for many years. I think he still does, and he's been pretty vocal about loving Louisiana.

He also narrated an LSU football DVD that came out about 10 years ago. Starred in "The Big Easy", "Everybody's All-American" (both from the '80's and filmed in Louisiana), and also the HBO series "Treme". I believe he's been quoted as saying that since "Everybody's All-American", he's been a die hard LSU fan.
