Wasn't that the rant belief for years on here?

Or were y'all wrong?

***BTW: I like this class. Filled a lot of needs.

I am not upset and it filled some big needs. Offensive and Defensive Lineman were in big need and to compete you need those lineman. LSU signed the best Wide Receiver Class in the country. Areas of big need in 2019 are DB's, QB's and more RB's. They also need to keep adding to the OL and DL. The new OL Coach says he is here to develop OT's and that is the heart of the Offense.

I honestly love this class if we land some DB's and a qb in 2019 we will be fine. It seems as LSU has lost some big time out of state players last year and this year. Winning has alot to do with it. When were having 10 win seasons the national recruits were coming in. We have done pretty well in state and if we sign a bunch this upcoming year we will be ok. Now looking at this upcoming schedule it will be difficult to get to 10 wins but we shall see.

I like our chances.

We have a very talented team that is battle tested. Those boys grew up last year.

The worst coach in the SEC - shite one of the worst coaches in SEC history - still managed to pull a top 25 class.

So it’s pretty hilarious that you dumb fricks think this recruiting cycle somehow shows LSU doesn’t recruit itself. There were actually multiple top 250 recruits that would have committed as well if Special Ed hadn’t basically to them to gtfo.

Not as much as you think. Go rewatch the Texans vs Pats playoff game from a few years ago. They bull rush with pressure up the middle.
If he said this, then he is speaking only about blindside tackle.
The salaries for guards is nearly as high as tackles nowadays.
You can thankBrady for the because the Texans put him on his arse the first 30-40 minutes of that game with pressure up the middle.

Here is your proof about NFI guards. Changing of the guard
Look who’s number 3 at 11.2 MM.

Lol LSU has a built in advantage bcs Louisiana produces more than its fair share of high level prospects. That advantage doesn’t extend beyond our borders.

As for meeting needs you mean except for QB, CB, RB?

If LSU recruits itself, then this year’s recruiting disappointment should tell you what recruits think of LSU.

We are not a dynamic football program or a hot school anymore. There is zero momentum on campus right now.

At the baseball park.
If we had those that left we wouldn’t have had to recruit linemen. 9 defections while 0 has been HC. Say what you want, but Teheuma starts last season

LSU usually does recruit itself, except when you have the most unqualified head coach and OC in the history of football. That put a pretty big damper on reputation and status. With an average coach, this class would have been better. Not many outside of LA want to join this circus.

Agree. Would've like to pick up corners obviously but the lack of O & D-line depth has been addressed with some killer recruits.

No CBs, no QB, and no stud RB. Yea...filled a lot of needs.

Only needs addressed were on the lines, so instead of being razor thin there, we are razor thin at Corner this year. Awesome...

Oh yea...and we have two preferred walk-on QBs, since we didn’t take one this cycle.

And the first time since likely pre-Kevin Faulk that we don’t have a stud RB.

Gotta love O...

4 scholarship corners and one of those still under suspension and his status uncertain for next season. Not good news for our secondary. So now, they’ll have to convert some safeties. Not a good situation.

I really like Curry but I dont Know if he’s day 1 start as a freshman type.

I dont Think Brosette is a SEC RB1 quality player. CEH seems like a change of pace back.

We had a huge opportunity for a big name and whiffes.
