I'm not frustrated with basketball...haven't had time. Still disheartened with the comedy act called LSU football.

The majority of Louisiana is filled with dumb, fat, and poor people.

What do you expect?

I don't get to see em in person but from what I've seen so far on TV we're better.I want them to be great every game but No matter the sport I rather my teams play their best at the end of the season, make the post season & make a run

We win a few games we shouldn't have. People with tiny brains and tiny peckers are now mad that we aren't on the way to a final four.
This is LSU dammit!!!!

We are definitely more talented than Vanderbilt. Waters, Rheath, and possibly Epps could start on just about any team in the SEC. Mays has his moments when he looks just as good but tends to play out of control too often.

We are frustrated because we are losing on little things not being hopelessly untalented. I mean comeon one less turnover or missed three and we could have won three or four more games. The referees haven't helped any also.

Any team that played like we did at Arkansas, should have won at least two our of the next three.

Should not have lost that game to Georgia at home. Letting them get a couple of offensive boards off free throws and that big offensive board to prolong their game winning possession was particularly frustrating. A game we shoulda won that we let slip.

And Vandy with Fisher-Davis out was a winnable game but we played terribly the first half and early second half. Did not take advantage of that opportunity.

Without question, we'll be fine with WW as coach going forward but honestly I think improvement over the previous staff should not be the standard. But I do believe we have the right coach...doesn't mean he's above some second-guessing but IMHO he's the right guy.

he just simply don't have the talent yet.
Honestly, again...with Fisher-Davis out I think talent-vs-talent against Vandy yesterday was about a wash. A winnable game were we really outside of Reath didn't really play that well, that was another frustration.

But to your point I truly believe the future is bright, but it's ok to be frustrated, we let a couple of winnable games slip through our fingers.

The one thing I am very anxious to see is how do the four and five star players that Wade has recruited, adapt to his coaching style. He is a very in your face, intense guy and he doesn’t have the resume of a Calipari, Coach K, or Roy Williams. It is a different breed of kids coming out of Hs today and I hope they come from coaching backgrounds where they are taught discipline and accountability.

Anybody that knows basketball knew this would be an NIT level team

With Naz, Smart, and possibly Emmitt Williams coming in next year that is when we can start complaining if we are still seeing the same results

Great players WANT to be coached and pushed to their limit. That why you saw Simmons seem like he didn't give a shite, as well as come out and say he got nothing out of college. Nobody will have a problem with it if LSU is winning games. Its when someone is constantly in your face and you are losing that it becomes a problem. But that is due to this losing.

The most frustrating thing about this team is that they don't go all out in every game. Too many times this year our guys have just stood there while the other team hustles after the ball. Just recently, we've handed the game to Kentucky, Georgia and Vandy because they got one offensive rebound after another because of our lack of effort going after a loose ball

I was very frustrated with Water's defensive effort yesterday. Far too many times he was letting a decent, but not great player drive by him off the dribble way too easily for a player of Water's quickness and athleticism. It happened over and over again and was really compromising the effort of the other 4 guys on the court for us.

WW has got to find a way to get him to buy in more consistently defensively. He sat him a good bit of the second half against Georgia for that very reason I'm sure and sat him briefly for that late against Vandy but I'm sure he felt he had to get him back in for what he can do offensively.

Gotta love how this board loves to rag on their own. And its usually the best players on the team, because they probably cant name anybody else.

My frustration stems from the fact I know he can do better. He is a dynamic talent.

That one does not apply here.

Just because a player gets beat off the dribble a couple times it doesn't mean he is giving no effort. It happens to every single player who has played basketball.

He is logging a lot of minutes, so he may be a bit tired. Teams are making damn sure to take him away on offense now, so he is having to put forth even more energy on that side of the ball. He may be fast, but the people he is playing against arent turtles. He needs help, and he is not going to get it this season. Knowing that has to be frustrating. I am 10000% certain if he wasnt giving maximum effort, like some are claiming, Wade would have him on the bench.

Because Wade was touted as a great coach, and he certainly hyped himself up. Frankly, the team doesn't look well coached at all. Granted, he has enthusiasm but enthusiasm isn't enough.

The players and/or the team looks lost sometimes during the game.

Then, take a look at Univ of Nevada Reno with three ex-LSU basketball coaches (including Coach Jones). They are playing way over their heads. So, don't tell me Coach Jones is not a good coach.

Shut up you fricking idiot. Jones is not the head coach. Nevada has been a decent program, and Mussleman is a good coach. You suck JJs dick so much on this site its pathetic. Now you are trying to give him credit for the success of a team he is not even the head coach of. AMAZING!!!
