Why exactly is Canada being fired?

Is it personal between him and O? Is it a difference in offensive approach? I heard there may have been an incident where it got physical between the two coaches. Anybody have any inside sauces on this situation?

The answer really doesn't matter, except that the reason is not substantial and appears purely personal.
All you need to know is that the termination is "without cause", which means The Orgeron has not only caused confusion and an unseemly mess, but is costing LSU a few million dollars in the process.

This is a mess and poorly handled, no matter the reason.
There is an allegation that Canada was telling recruits not to sign, since he was leaving. If so, why in the hell is he allowed to coach the bowl?
If it's a personality conflict with the HC, then both men need to get over it. I don't like everyone I work with or for, but I do my job, and for way less than what O or Canada brings home.
This is the worst possible time for such bullshite to emerge, and I'm sick of LSU being the 'drama mamas' of football.
