I'm not a fan of retro-claiming, but LSU was the only Undefeated Team without a Tie that season. NCAA site has LSU listed as a Co-Champ with Penn. Penn had a tie that year.

Seems like if Tenner can make up Natties, we would have claimed this at some point.

We outscored Opponents 442-11 with 7 shutouts. We only played 2 Conference teams. So basically the Schedule Bama wants now.

Hi, how ya doing? Welcome to the 21st century. We have all kinds of neat new inventions to keep you busy. It's much better here than back in 1908.

I would be fine with claiming it but I also don't care at all. What's this gonna add 3 inches to your dick?

I believe it has something to do with allegations that some players were paid. Which I guess made the university shy away from claiming it

That’s exactly how they work for me. Each NC adds 3”.

So I hope this doesn’t happen. 15” a bit unwieldy.

I was there at every game in 1908
Hard fought season...great team.
ESPN aired a couple games.

Let’s claim it.

Yah that's a bit much. Hopefully for your old lady's sake we don't win anything anytime soon.

Well hell, throw 1935 in there while you're at it. As you said, Bama sure would.

The only reason I said 1908 is because it is recognized by the NCAA. Bama and Tennessee claim titles not recognized by NCAA. 1935 isn't

This is a pastime for Alabama and Tenn.
It is the source of a lot of amusement for me and others. Unless one suffers from some kind of inferiority complex (and the States of Ala. and Tenn, have good grounds for this), its really a silly exercise.

That game at Auburn was brutally hot. 3:45 start time on CBS--Gary wouldn't stop talking about Auburn's run game. Had to turn the TV audio off in favor of the radio.

I always come out of the tunnel for a good 1908 National Championship post. But, if I see my shadow I must go back in the tunnel until football season.

how mad were you that we gave up the shutout with a safety? Terrible.
