Why Do We Shoot Ourselves in the Foot The Week Before a Huge Game? TYPICAL LSU!

Why do we create internal drama ourselves the week before what is going to be a very tough bowl game?

You fools starting threads like “will we beat ND by 20 or 40 points?” are clueless. This is gong to be a tough game, and with the unreliability of LSU this year, who really knows what team will show up.

And then on top of that you create a huge distraction for absolutely no reason. This should have been kept internal and dealt with after the season ends.

If LSU beats ND then it won’t matter, right? But if we lose, we have a lackluster 9-win season with one win against a winning team, and a bowl loss.

Everything to lose and nothing to gain, but I guess this is pretty typical for LSU at this point.

Pitiful!

Absolutely NOTHING that's spewed on this board will have ANY effect on the outcome of the LSU vs Notre Dame game. (Or any other LSU game)

The final score will be 100% determined by how the coaches coach and the players play.

Anybody that thinks differently is delusional and not dealing with reality.

I’m not talking about this board, you ignoramous.

I’m talking about the players and coaches getting distracted by this drama. Even if they say ‘it don’t matter we still gone play 100%” the truth is it does matter, even if they don’t realize it.

Meanwhile ND is sitting back watching us implode while they prepare to cap off their season with a bowl win.

Don't be so myopic. Notre Dame just sent their second string running back home for violating team rules and has suspended three other players in the last week.

You can’t believe it’s not affecting the players and coaches at all.

Bowl games are a crapshoot.
People making fun of TAM for losing to Wake. They had a punter as a coach and Chavis on his way out. We know how that works.

MSU would have crushed Louisville with Mullen and their QB in place

UCLA had a coach change

Point is that there is always drama this time of year for lots of teams.

I’m more concerned going forward about losing an OC after only one year and it not being football related.

This game is as meaningless as this thread! If it meant something everybody would be playing in it.

Citrus bowl = senior bowl , some of you think if they beat Notre Dame they are a better team. The only thing it proves is the half of Lsu players that played got experience.

The playoffs are the only meaningful games this time of the year. The only good thing about these meaningless bowl games is that the players have extra practice time.

The bowl game effects your preseason ranking the following year. Not that the ranking really matters in the big picture.
