Saw somebody write send Ensminger back to TE coach and hire a real OC. This made me question why we need one or ever had one instead of a QB coach.

In terms of importance, there's no comparison between a QB and TE. In terms of productivity and use, there's no comparison. LSU is known as being the school that's 1 QB away. Why have we had a TE coach over a dedicated QB coach for so many years? And why in the hell would we do it again?

Because if we get a real OC we might actually use the TE more

I've never been a football coach so I don't know how this works. It's seems like the TEs can either be coached by the WRs coach and/or the OL coach.

It doesn't make any sense actually. I mean, if it's one thing LSU is known for it's been the dynamic incorporation of elite TEs into its offensive schemes. Saints have nothing on LSU.
