Why do we keep lowering the bar for Orgeron?

Just another example of how the goal posts are constantly getting moved by the Orgeron fan club.
Last year the battle cry of the O haters was “he lost to Troy”
We fired the last coach because he wasn’t competing for championships. So we lowered the bar for Orgeron to just getting past Bama. Then we lowered it to “lets just have a more interesting offense” now it has sunk to beating teams like Troy. Oh yeah, we comin alright.

Nobody is...
Look around, we are projected to make the playoffs this year. We have the 2nd best class in the country and are well on pace to finish ahead of Bama. We are moving in the right direction whether people want to admit it or not.
Yes we should win 10-11 games this year and if we don’t it will be a failure.

Who is projecting us to win a playoff? We have to beat Bama to even attempt that.

ESPN has us amoung the 5 best teams to reach the playoffs. With our schedule if we beat Texas, Florida, Auburn, and A&M we will get in with a loss to Bama. Nobody but Clemson has the firepower to beat Bama. We aren’t there yet but we will get there.

Absolutely not, but beating Bama is not a requirement for making the playoffs. If we go 11-1 and lose to Bama we likely make the playoffs. If we go 6-6 and beat Bama we don't go anywhere.
It would be nice (and helpful), but it is not a necessary.
