It’s a defense mechanism. LSU football is one of the few things that gives us affiliatory self worth and being negative towards it helps us deal with disappointment.

I firmly believe many of the die hard "hate" people on here are just that. doubt they are LSU fans or they are just immature posters that do not understand competitive sports and just want to bitch if things are not perfect.
