Why did we keep going to Naz in the corner?

He cant do anything from there. The offense flows much better when we give it to him at the top of the free throw line. Great job by the Tigers fighting back for a win though. Can't wait for Saturday

He kept drawing doubles. We got some good looks out of that look

It opened up the offense when Florida double teamed him. It was a great move..... and we won so it worked.

Created a double team and ball reversal found open shots.

Let Will Goat Wade do his job

Idk I get so damn nervous when the double doesn’t come and he starts dribbling. Wade has us 15-2 so I’m not going to question it even though I hate it

It worked well as long as Naz didn’t try to dribble it in. Then it usually got ugly.

This didnt really happen until the end. The rest of the game it was uncontrolled play after uncontrolled play over there. We went on several stretches of a few minutes where we couldnt get anything going at all out of that look. I just dont like Naz getting the ball so far away from the basket unless its at the top of the key. He's very clumsy with his ball handling.

It’s called coaching and game planning. Hold it till dbl team comes reverse ball creating shots or open court for driving. He did well most of he time

Its because they were doubling Naz all game. So we shifted him over to create space for three shooters. Waters was wide open for a deep 3 in OT off a Naz Reid pass.

Naw dude. They doubled Naz Reid all game long and we finally adjusted.

Florida is a really good defensive team. They are small but their on ball defense is sick. That team lost two bigs. Otherwise they would likely be top 25 per usual.

We scored on most trips down the court at the end doing that. Naz drew a double team everytime, so our odds were better finding someone a shot with him passing out of the constant double team.

Wade said that the high ball screens weren’t working, and he liked the spacing that we got putting Naz on the wing.

Hey tiger chief

Look no further than the second Post in the thread from the Jim beam fellow.

It's a shame that you didn't know this already. not only that the commentators mentioned it about 20 times

I close my eyes. He is terrible on the dribble or trying to learn how a pivot foot works

Totally agree.

I was yelling at the tv.

I can infer that the idea is to open lane for Waters.

He should catch it on the baseline and use his size for a turnaround J or to back his guy down even more to shoot a hook shot over him like he did when he caught it out in the corner tonite. But catching it that far out there is dumb, Wade does not do a good job of coaching them up in this area, he can do better. Him and Bigby-Williams should take turns posting up players from the baseline, but today's game is so different now that these guys catch the ball out to high now.

They were doubling and in some cases had 3 around him when he got the ball. he is getting better getting out of the double team and swinging the ball to open man.
