Why did PM pull Hilliard?

Am I missing something, is there a reason he pulled him after one inning? The second inning could not have gone worse if Hilliard stayed in....

Because Hilliard just pitched and then came out again tonight. And this is a kid that has battled arm injuries his entire time at lsu.

Arkansas and Ole Miss both had guys throw in 3 of the 4 days. Arkansas had a dude throw 77 on Saturday and come back todah to throw 70

Well I was legit asking why he was pulled. I didn't know he pitched Saturday, Ive been working and was not able to watch until tonight.

It’s a regional championship. This is where you find out who has the nuts to handle the moment. Instead of giving Hilliard the opportunity to make a statement and live in LSU history, he chose to take him out bc he had a set plan??
Barring Hilliard actually telling him that he couldn’t go another inning.... it was the wrong decision in this moment.

None of those guys are Hilliard. If DVH and Bianco want to ruin their top arms then by all means go ahead.
