You think the defense are machines and don't get tired? The offense has to possess the ball for long amounts of time to give the defense a breather. Also, TAMU had about 120 or so yards around the time the game as tied at 17. JD's fumble not only directly gave them 7 points, it gave them momentum. the defense started out getting stops and playing better in the 2nd half. The players l never come out and openly say it but make no mistake, JD's refusal to stretch the field and slow/poor decision making hurts the offense severely.

Basically he had 3 good games all year. We beat a mediocre Florida team which was the first game he really decided to throw the ball and trust his receivers. We beat a pathetic Ole Miss team. He played out of his mind against Bama. Other than that, JD has been an OK QB.

I appreciate him for getting us through this year but it is time to give the reigns to a QB who isn't afraid to throw the ball.

Missed a pass or did the WR miss it?

I'm not putting the loss on him, but he certainly contributed to the loss. He's just not a good QB, he holds the ball too long, and they are receivers open down the field, so, I don't wanna hear that no one's open. He looks to run the ball way too much, on option reads he makes bad decisions sometimes instead of giving the ball to the RB on occasions.

He has to improve a lot with his down the field passing also because he can't complete passes over 20 yards it seems. But I give him credit on that long pass he threw to Jaray Jenkins that Jenkins dropped that should have been a TD. But Boutte caught a lot of downfield passes last season. I mean bombs, that's why he was picked to be a all American this season. But he has had no connection this season with Daniels because Daniels is bad at throwing bombs, he overthrows the ball bad. Dude has a lot of improving to do or he should be replaced.

Because he had a terrible game and reverted back to the indecisive guy that refuses to push the ball down field and instead more often than not calling his own number

The truth is, if he stays, he's the starter next year. There's no denying that

I’m telling you right now, there’s a 0% chance that happens. Daniels is a very very bad passer with a low football IQ. There is no way on earth that CBK and Joe Sloan let him start next year
