Who's ridin? "LSU National Champions" state license plate officially passed into law

Quality legislation. Proceeds will go to LSU. Can't wait to see these. Will be a constant reminder of this legendary season.

In a private bill signing ceremony today, Gov. John Bel Edwards signed the late Rep. Reggie Bagala's bill, HB 765, into law. The ceremony was attended by Rep. Bagala's wife and son, LSU Head Football Coach Ed Orgeron and Athletic Director Scott Woodward.
HB 765 was filed by Rep. Bagala, R-Cut Off, to authorize a license plate in honor of LSU's historic 2019 football national championship. With Gov. Edwards' signature, HB 765 became Act 54 of 2020, in recognition of House District 54, which Rep. Bagala represented. Rep. Bagala succumbed to complications from COVID-19 on April 9, 2020.

Reggie was an awesome person and the biggest Tiger fan I've ever known. He is sorely missed and would have made a wonderful state representative. The family couldn't have a traditional funeral of course, due to covid, so a procession was held before they laid him to rest where people honored him dressed in their LSU colors. He would have been proud.

No. Bill was just signed into law yesterday.
OMV will work with LSU to develop the design; but I would guess that LSU has probably already done work on this and it shouldn't take long to get one put out there for viewing.

If the plate mentions the previous years national championships, if it doesn't include 1908, I'm boycotting.
