If it isn’t retired, it will have a similar deal to #7, which I don’t really want. It should be retired imo, as should 72. We have a high standard for retiring jerseys and I don’t see how you could argue Dorsey and Joe didn’t meet that.

Gonna run out of numbers quickly if you're discontinuing the number of every All American or award winner who comes through.

No better way to honor a number than to let others wear it, with the expectation that they uphold its legacy.
