I was at the game in Starkville when JoJo lit him up, and loved the highlights at the time (Loston got him on the PP7 return).
But I read an article on him a while back (I lived in MS at the time) and he was pretty messed up by the concussions. It became less funny to me and I felt pretty bad for him. I know he didn't finish his career at MSU, had to quit football.

I still don’t know how that kid from Arky didn’t die from the Chad Jones hit. Most brutal I have ever seen.

It's amazing how much video quality has come just since those were made. Watching them feels like I'm coming off a concussion myself.

As the rule applies now, both of those hits would’ve been illegal and both of those players unfortunately would’ve been ejected from the game

There were people all around me with this just stunned look.
I at first thought Chad Jones knocked out some of that guy’s teeth. Ended up being his mouthpiece.
