??? State your reason.....

1) Saban
2) Miles
3) CEO

I recall back when that recruiting class from the 03 team won the title many believed Saban brought in the best class ever, but I believe CEO is doing as good of a job if not better than any coach and it continues!

CEO put together the teams in Miami, USC and LSU. A true recruiting machine.

Gotta go with Miles. Ashame he couldn't let someone else run his offense.

Reasonable to rank CEO above Miles at this point, but you’d have to give it to Saban for now. As crazy as it sounds, we haven’t seen the best from CEO just yet.

Saban is the greatest coach and recruiter (lots of overlap in those 2 things) in CFB history

Miles was by far the worst recruiter out of the 3 if you take strategy into account. He was great at signing highly ranked classes on paper, but he was awful at addressing needs and would neglect certain positions (DT, LB, QB) in order to sign like fourteen 4* and 5* DB’s and WR’s to fluff his class ranking. You can’t seriously consider someone who didn’t have a quarterback for 7 years the “best” in comparison to Saban or Orgeron who are absolutely lights out at recruiting

well said, miles would get a bunch of 5* athletes to bump his classes, not to say he was a bad recruiter, but he wasn't the best either

But you also can’t disrespect and leave him out the argument. It was truly Miles that started that pipeline to Texas

CEO. He’s recruited like this every where he has been. USC wishes they never let him go.

I don’t know how anyone can argue against his consistent success at multiple programs.

O wasn’t the primary reason for the classes Pete Carroll put together at USC, but he does deserve credit for leaving Ole Miss relatively loaded. He did a great job recruiting while he was there.

I feel like Miles get to much credit. Yes he had great classes on paper but they were often filled with very good skill players. He missed out on to many linemen. That’s why Bama dominated LSU for 8 years. Saban focused on the line of scrimmage.

How anyone can rank Miles over Saban is a total mystery to me. Miles took over a loaded roster (built by Saban) two years removed from national championship. Saban took over an Alabama program that was in shambles and ended up dominating Miles for the better part of a decade.

That’s not a knock on Miles either. What he did at LSU was exceptional. It’s just that it doesn’t measure up to Saban’s resume.

He also has three times as many national championships as the other two combined.
