Who matches up better with us: Georgia, OU, Clemson, or OSU?

Georgia: underachievers, but seem to be hitting their stride. I think they can be somewhat dangerous.

Clemson: while the sophomore slump is real, Trevor Lawrence, Ross, TE are all battle tested.

OU: a joke. I remember when Jalen Hurts couldn’t pass for more than 250 yards at Bama. Biggest pretenders.

OSU: they have the speed and defense to match us at every position. Chase Young would be a nightmare to block, but we managed Auburn’s d-line rush to an extent. This is the team that definitely matches up with us across the board. They would also benefit from playing in the dome to the same extent we would. They have elite speed and playmakers. It would be an amazing game.

Good analysis.

I think LSU's D is a bigger problem for Ohio State than vice versa. If Aranda forces Fields to throw from the pocket, it could be a long day for OSU.

Fields is much more of a JT Barrett than a Haskins. Teams that had the muscle to load the box against barrett shut down the OSU offense (Va Tech, Clemson, Oklahoma).

Alabama and OSU are the only teams that can play with us.

Auburn, Clemson and Georgia are the next tier

I don’t think OU can stay within 20 of LSU

I think Ohio State is an elite team

But, I think LSU is a bad match-up for Ohio St.

Sooo...if it’s OSU vs LSU...who are you rooting for? You’ve said you have no connection to Burrow. Will you be changing allegiance to LSU? If so..welcome aboard.

I'm on strike against the OSU admin. They allowed an idiotic coup against Meyer to succeed. Day inherited a gold mine of talent (almost coach-proof), but he will frick it all up, IMO.

We should handle any one of Oregon/OU/Baylor/Utah by at least 14

But whoever comes out of tOSU/Clem... that’s gonna be a damn war

ETA: before any of that, Georgia isn’t going to be a pushover. But they’ll likely have no margin for error on defense.

Thank you..that’s all I’ve been asking. Why couldn’t you have said that in the thread yesterday? I’m glad you’re pissed at them and on board the Shrimp boat

The way Najee played against us is a concern with Swift at UGA. Their oline is very good as well. Big guys that will wear on us if all our Dline are not healthy. To me them and then OSU are the toughest teams in the top 7..

UGA and Bama play 2 entirely different styles of offense. We will be able to put 2 more defenders in the box against UGA and force Fromm to beat us with his arm.

Also..we held Bama’s RBs in check through the 1st half...but with a 20 pt lead..we kinda softened against the run...understandable.
