Hard to fathom that we’re doing this without Adam Miller. But who knows, basketball on-court chemistry is a weird thing. Maybe it wouldn’t be working as well

Adam Miller transfer from Illinois. Cam Thomas like talent.

This is the best team in the country with him.

Thanks. Any idea when’s the earliest he’s back playing?

Adam Miller is the true scoring threat this team is missing to take the next step.

Brandon Murray is developing quicker than they thought tho. He may be able to be that guy by the end of the season.

What kind of defender is Miller? It takes one weak defender to tank a defense.

Miller plays great defense.

Obviously, would’ve loved him out there because it could’ve put this team over the edge come tournament time. Only positive is that this will make Murray that much better and prepared for next year.

I think he comes back because he won’t get drafted where he wants coming off 1 year averaging 9 pts and off of an injury. Could play himself into first round if he comes in and is the guy next year.

He is not that weak link, in fact WW credits his tenacity and leadership in the early season workouts as a big reason for the change in attitude of everyone else on defense.

I imagine NBA teams want to see him play a season on that repaired ACL before drafting him.

Thats not the comparison I would make for Miller although not terribly far off.

He was going to start the 2 for this team instead of Murray and be a main offensive threat but he probably wasn't going to be a 20+ ppg type of guy. I think he would have probably led the team in scoring but more like 15-19ppg range probably. Closer to Eason's average than Cam Thomas's average while he was here. He wouldnt have a trigger like Cam Thomas did, but also would probably be a more efficient player.

Certainly a huge blow to the team and it's nuts what we've been able to achieve without him mostly with just 3 guards this season.

Will he come back or is he likely to go pro despite the injury?

I cant really see why he'd go pro based on what he did as a freshman. It's highly unlikely he'd be drafted and would find it much more difficult to make an NBA team through the G-league than just having a big college season and being drafted.

If he thought he was ready to go to NBA based on his freshman season he wouldnt have transferred here

He had been behind the bench all season till the last few games. I'm assuming he might have went home for the break since he isn't playing. I would guess if he shows back up and is in school for the spring semester, that would mean he's probably coming back next year.

Adam Miller, really good with the 3 and is a great scorer which is probably our #1 need right now.
