One group saying Wade.
One group saying Alleva/King/Bitch.

It’s not a fair question.

Reality: Wade screwed up. Then Alleva and company took a bad situation and made it awful when there may have been ways to mitigate the damage.

Atleast Wade is doing well at his primary job which is winning games. Alleva has failed at every aspect of his job description.

It was a major screw up by Wade that will require major damage control by expensive lawyers to try and prove plausible deniability

There is not enough in this "leaked" Yahoo report to incriminate or prove any wrongdoing

People think Wade is nailed based off of pure assumptions

Wade has to learn that if you want to win consistently at this game, you have to first learn how to play the "game." Recruiting in BB has been dirty for a long, long, long time, but you still have to cover your butt and let others handle the dirty work. The HC should never leave fingerprints behind and Wade has! Just being honest!

College basketball and the NCAA being inextricably tied to one another while having diametrically opposed agendas has caused the big picture problem. Wade was just a player (a poor one apparently) and Alleva is just an incompetent AD trying to hang onto his job.

All I’m saying is:

Wade’s job is to win games... done

Alleva and company’s job is to manage situations like this. Something they have failed at repeatedly... duke lacrosse, Les Miles firing, now this.

One side has a track record of being incompetent

What about the bigger picture problem? There aren't enough lower level professional leagues for all the basketball talent in the USA below the NBA and G League level. This results in the players in those hypothetical leagues being forced to play college instead or go to Australia or China or wherever. They clearly want to be professional, but the opportunity just isn't there

Wades comments are really bad. The fact he did not inform or prepare his bosses for the possibility they could be publicly released is terrible. Wade is a good young coach but there are alot of those out there. Wades ability to get quality players in was his strength. He probably had alot of help doing that though. Wades not worth getting massive sanctions.

The real story is after the Ben Simmons thing flopped the school decided to put some real resources into hiring a young coach and playing the "game". Got caught up in these federal issues with sponsors and schools and are low hanging fruit. Bad timing really.
