Haven't been in Nashville, only Atlanta

Is it worth it?

I can imagine any games involving UK and Tenn will be a tough ticket.

My folks are going. Makes it an easier trip for most considering we have the double bye. Wish I could go...one year old at home makes it a bit more difficult for trips like this.

Anyone know how many tickets the schools get to the tournament? I'm a season ticket holder, and I don't remember getting even so much as an email about it. Usually, you can at least put in a request for these types of things.

Hell yea. Nashville is badass. Bridgestone is right off broadway too. You can walk right out of the arena and be in a bar/restaurant in minutes.

Lots of other cool stuff to do and see in Nashville too. Good food scene I might add.

I wish they’d rotate cities a little more. It’d be cool to see it in Nola or Houston every few years. Definitely gotta have it in Nashville tho. It’s a top tier SEC city.

IF you're a season ticket holder you would've seen the request form at the bottom of your ticket renewal form. Be advised those buying on aftermarket face value for lowers is $450 each for entire booklet. Come see us...….

Ah ok. It was my first year.

Well, I've had tickets before, but I'd get pissed off and not renew. Then, I'd pick them up again the next season. Rinse and repeat.

I'll be there Thursday morning with a group of 8.

Nashville is an incredible city. Should be some really good basketball all weekend.

Went to the one in Nola in 2012? Or the last time it was in Nola. We enoyed ourselves and LSU wasn’t very good. Typically the place is empty unless Kentucky or Tennessee play.

I have been to about 15 SEC MBB tournaments in BR (1988 I think), ATL, and Nashville. Except for the one in BR, in terms of fans, UK fans make up 75% of the crowd at least. UTenn has nowhere near as many fans as UK does. Maybe this year Tenn will have more fans than they usually do as UT tied Auburn for the SEC title last year.

UK fans are professionals at accessing other schools ticket allotments. And most of the UK fans at the SEC Ty are UK fans who cannot get UK home season tickets. They take a week off each March and see their Cats play at the SEC Ty. I have met scores of these people down through the years.

I don't know what Will Wade's personal philosophy is about conference tournaments, but Dale Brown, John Brady, Trent Johnson, and JJ did not emphasize SEC Ty play like UK does for its sidewalk fans. That is why there is not a base of 1000 or so LSU fans who will attend the SEC every year like State has or Alabama or Florida. Most years I went, LSU had the fewest number of fans there of any SEC schools and that includes years we were a top 4 SEC team.

How will tickets work for the Friday games? There are four games. Are the first two part of a session and the last two part of a different session? Assuming that you can't buy tickets to a specific game but have to buy the session...is this correct?
