Who here has had some cool Player encounters?

I saw Randall Gay at Ruth’s Chris last night.

Hung out with kevin Mawae at world market while our wives were buying kitchen decorations.

I’ve met Tommy Hodson and Verge Ausberry tailgating when I was a kid. Leonard Fournette and Malachi Dupre used to come eat at the restaurant I work every once in a while when they were here, and I’d occasionally be their server.

Would hang out by the locker room exit with player families and friends to see Rondell Mealey when I was a kid, he was my favorite player. Corresponded with him even while he played for the Packers for that brief time.

That’s all I got.

I elbow wrestled Craig Steltz for the arm rest once on a flight from Chicago in 2012. I was flying down for the SC game and he was heading home during the Bears bye week.

Ran into Shaq at the mall when he was at LSU. Even taller than you would imagine.

Was hitting golf balls on the range next to Jimmy Taylor about 15 years ago or so. Keiland’s calves have nothing on him.

Ran into Marty Fletcher when I was a kid at some grocery store in Lafayette

I went to the Saban Football Camp to see my nephew from Houma perform. I wore my LSU cap and as I was watching practice a tall dude came up to me and said " I love that cap you have on". It took me a little bit but finaly realized it was Jamie Howard. His boy was at the camp as well. He was very nice and loves LSU!
