You know there was pressure from Aggie and the SEC office to do that but we said no dice. That’s like having a Birthday on Christmas.

I have some really good memories of those Black Friday games against Arkansas. In fact, I kinda miss that.

A&M can eat a bag of uncircumcised weiners, though.

Should be on Friday in BR and Thursday in CS, but that would make way too much sense

Heard a Mississippi sports talk radio guy complaining yesterday about how the Egg Bowl has to compete with NFL games and how both schools now hate that they ever agreed to scheduling on Thanksgiving.

Screw that. Why give yourself the short week?

Make it Saturday. Attendance will be far better not having to deal with holiday or Black Friday. That Arky game on Friday always sucked.

Aggie: me and my big brother grew up playing tackle football every thanksgiving, just a tradition I guess! Say you wouldn’t mind if we play on Thursday every year eh?

LSU: I’m not your brother little boy, see you in Death Valley

UT: he was adopted

Aggie: I always wanted two big brothers

UT: I’d rather die alone than spend one more holiday with you

LSU: who let these weirdos in the house?

Aggie: 74-72 SWaMp TrAsh LOLOoL

LSU: I miss Arkansas

Alot of people have to work on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Saturday is when it should be and is played.

Yep this. The Saints are playing two years in a row now on Thanksgiving night.

1. Luckily I am not in retail

2. Having a nearly exclusive national television audience every year did not suck

Fake news.

2001 set the tiger stadium attendance record
2003 set a new tiger stadium attendance record
2005, 2007, and 2011 were attended beyond capacity.

Yes. It’s because people like to whine.

Or people like to go to the game that Is included in their season tickets but also don’t like to break their grandmothers (or another person that means something to them) tradition who probably doesn’t care about the game but feels an obligation to cook for dozens of people.

Inserting a game on a national holiday is a huge disruption to many people.
