Dude is like 5’8. A poor man’s Bryce Young.

Have Perkins on him all game and let our DBs feast on turnovers

Perkins and the rest of the defense better be ready to stop the run as well as the pass. Georgia isn't only about S. Bennett

I feel good about LSU’s defense against UGA

Unfortunately, I think UGA could actually shut out LSU. Especially, if Jayden is hesitant.

For LSU to win, check out the Mizzou vs UGA game this year. 26-22 with a ton of field goals. Mizzou almost had them. That has to be the game script for LSU to pull off the victory

and UAB

But for Georgia...we are going to have to play smart on Defense and they will have to make some mistakes...Can we win???? Absolutely we can..its just going to be tough on both sides of the ball....This is going to be the best D they will have faced all year but in the same token this will be the best D we face all year as well

The best way to shut him down is jump out to a lead or at least go score for score. You just dont want them ahead of the chains constantly.

I'm more concerned about Daniels getting his head handed to him by that defense. They're just different.

If faggies just being faggies isnt embarrassing enough already.

I'm not as concerned with UGA's TE's as maybe i should be...if Perk is folding Bennett like a taco all game, whos gonna get those 2 studs the ball? Jet sweeps?

Shut down the QB and turn them 1 dimensional. Still a damn good running squad, but you have to take away something to not get dog walked.

UGA's DB's are beastly, the O and D-line is fantastic. Not to mention the TE's and receivers.

It's going to be a task to say the least.

LSU has had great success when throwing downfield and running consistently.

On the other hand, we have struggled when we don't throw downfield.

It's very doable to beat UGA just gotta play spot on.

I'm sure every team's fanbase with a pulse says the same thing. You haven't watched enough college football in your lifetime.

I don't know about shutting him down, Georgia has a ton of talent. But I'm confident they will do a pretty good job.

I'm much more concerned about our offense scoring points.

I do too. QBs with a bit of mobility gave LSU some trouble in the first part of the season. LSU then started to figure out how to slow those QBs down. While not completely, the biggest way they have done it has simply been to let #40 loose. He runs around OTs with ease, and is lighting fast as a "spy" once he triggers. You saw it with great QBs in Bryce Young and not so great (but fast) QBs in Hornsby. Once Perkins has you in his target you just have to get rid of the ball. You can't run away from him and he closes too damn fast to get the ball out with any success under pressure.

The concern is UGA's OL is very good. They can run right at Perkins and have great TEs to create mismatches and quick throws. Still, I think LSU will be the best defense UGA has faced this year...by far.

Yes, Jayden has had his issue. But, IMO, the play calling and overall offensive approach has been well below average. LSU's formations and routes don't really stress defenses. They rarely attack the middle of the field. Many times Daniels is hesitant because his primary target is covered. The bottom line is if Daniels is prevented from making big runs on designed passes (like Arkansas did) LSU's offense is completely inept. Even against Alabama, many of the big offensive plays were Daniels runs and Alabama penalties. LSU's offensive approach doesn't do a lot to help their QB with easy reads and throws. There are rarely formations that create confusion or favorable matchups. That was a big part of why 2019 was so successful. LSU's offense scheme constantly put defenders out of place. This offense doesn't. You don't have 40 sacks on the season SOLELY because the OL is young and the QB sometimes holds on to the ball too long. The OC has to share in that blame.

Georgia is good. They are better than LSU man for man. So LSU is not going to be able to just show up and consistently "win" one on one battles. The OC is going to have to scheme some favorable matchups and cause a bit of indecision on the defense. Simply running 8 yard comebacks outside the hashes time and time again won't get it done against a good UGA defense.
