It actually gives us the opportunity to recreate a vintage Tiger Stadium atmosphere. We get to play both UGA and Alabama at home this season, two teams who will definitely be in the top 5 at the times that we play them. Hopefully we can recreate a 1997 Florida like atmosphere where we go into the game not expecting much, but the players will be able to feed off our energy and pull out a huge victory. Lets make the most of this unique opportunity to get to watch two great teams come to Death Valley and face off against our Tigers!! Who's with me?

Contrary to what people might think of my opinion on O, I want him to succeed. He has big opportunities to do so. I just have my doubts.

He could really shite some haters up with a 11-2 season. That would be a very good season with this schedule.

10-3 is ok. Depends on who we lose to.

We need to be in contention to win the west. Of course I would love to beat Miami opening day, but a loss isn’t the end of the world. Auburn week 3 is sooo much more important. We absolutely must beat Auburn to have a shot. If we beat Auburn, we could still lose to UGA and beat bama and win the west. If we lose to Auburn we’re done.
The Miami game is truly insignificant

And herein lies my problem. It’s not 1997. We’re past that.

Ditto but read it as a statement of fact. Now, in retrospect, why did I click in...

We have a very difficult schedule next year and play 2 top teams in the first 3 games

If we can somehow go into the UGA game undefeated the atmosphere is going to be insane at that home game.

thats a nice sentiment but Alleva and FKing have done all they can to kill the tiger stadium environment, and with the product on the field being poor you're not going to see anything even close to the 97 Florida atmosphere.

I want to have a million dollar home but that won't happen. Just like O winning the sec won't happen. Wishful thinking that's it

Arky in 06 got blown out by USC then went undefeated until we beat them. They still won the west.

I agree but with all the negativity around O and coach E I’m afraid if we stumble out the gates it will take a lot of that away. I hope not because there’s nothing like an optimistic fired up tiger stadium. I really hope we make a statement against Miami with dominating defense and a breakout game for Myles or LN. That would be huge

No one of complaining about the schedule. The schedule is exciting. In fact it’s probably the best home schedule I’ve seen since 2007. The schedule ALONE might be the reason I keep my tickets

Everyone is complaining that Ed Orgeron is ruining LSU football quicker than we all anticipated
