Which NFL draft prospect has most to prove at LSU’s pro day?

As for the rest of the Tigers, pro day obviously looms largest for the guys who didn’t earn invitations to the combine. In my opinion, the name at the very top of that list is wide receiver Russell Gage.
Granted, Gage’s greatest strength isn’t anything that can be measured in this type of setting. His ability as a special teams gunner is uncanny, bringing to mind one of the few players to ever make a reputation strictly in that role — former Buffalo Bills great Steve Tasker. Still, Gage is a tremendous athlete, and proving that point with a strong pro day could push him from undrafted free agent territory to a Day 3 steal.
“Gage is the guy I get more questions about from guys who don’t scout the Southeastern Conference,” Louisiana-based draft expert Mike Detillier told SEC Country earlier this year. “But he can help you instantly on special teams. Not everyone can do that. That’s a gift to get down the field and get to the ball. He has a knack that’s tremendous. He’s not a starting receiver in the NFL, but he’s part of the package.
Gage’s stock will no doubt be helped by the recommendation of current LSU special teams coordinator Greg McMahon, who spent most of his coaching career in the NFL.

Defensive linemen Christian LaCouture and Greg Gilmore were not invited to the combine despite attending the Senior Bowl. Clearly something turned teams off to the duo at the Senior Bowl, and at pro day they’ll have a chance to prove those assessments foolhardy.
Wednesday looms as one of the most important days in the lives of several former LSU football players

Key
Hands down the most to prove.

Key, but it's not so much prove as convince.

From the article:

Heading into the NFL combine, the answer to that question was Arden Key. But Key believes he has sufficiently answered all the questions posed to him by NFL teams. There’s not much left for him to do to help himself, so he’s dedicating his pro day to helping others. Key will match donations to a charity dedicated to ending child hunger based on his performance in the broad jump.

Ditto! He needs a monster day

Arden Key. I hope he has a great day.

Key thinks he has answered the questions about last year.
And he seems to point to the combine.
I question his conclusion. On the one hand, he need only convince once or two teams. On the other, the measurables at the combine were never much a part of the "questions" about him.
I think last year cost him money.

Hmmmm, I disagree 100%.
He skipped bench and 40 yard dash.
I think everyone wants to know where he is with these.
If he is in complete beast mode (true freak numbers) he could jump several spots into 1st round. If he is slow and weak, he drops.
The difference is millions of dollars
That is A LOT to prove.

It doesn't matter what Key believes. It only matters what the various NFL teams believe.
With him skipping stuff at the combine, they probably don't have as high a view of him as he has of himself.

Surely the NFL will want an explanation for his sudden leave of absence. I know if I were about to invest millions into someone I would want to know.
