I was at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken, mobbing on one of the colonel’s famous buckets when I got the news. I certainly helped myself to an extra serving of his famous gravy upon hearing the news.

I was in Mrs Thibodeaux's kindergarten class, just finishing the daily nap, when the principal, Sister Mary Psycho came in and said Burrow was transferring to LSU. At my age, I didn't quite understand the significance of it all. But I knew something awesome was transpiring. The teacher put on the television so all of us could watch the historic event live as it happened.
