I’ve never tailgated at the Superdome before, where should I be walking around, should I just go to French quarter and bar crawl. Educate me

Anywhere is going to be fun. You could def. start in the French Quarter and then make your way to the Warehouse District. Plenty of bars there to pop in and out of.

The weather is going to be shitty, the Dome parking garage doesn't open until 2 iirc, and most lots nears the Dome will be reserved for private parties and media. There will not be the tailgating that LSU fans are used to.

do this:

Around 1 or 2, head to the river for the field goal and passing blow ups. Show them kids how it's done.

I would park at the Park First Lot. (S. Villere St)
Its right next to Tulane not far from Canal, and you are 4-6 blocks from the dome. Easy place to exit to get back on I-10 after the game with little to no traffic.

If you're down there at night and in the quarter, don't wander off the beaten path and hit side streets and alleys, stay on Bourbon Street if you're going there. Alot of people get robbed like that...stay where the crowd is and where cops are. Will be a few of naive and ignorant Clemson fans that will find out the hard way. I guarantee it.

Should be a shitload of people tailgating though so shouldn't be hard to find where the spots are. Championship square will be fun as hell.

First, Molly’s at the Market for a Bloody Mary. They put Guinness in it and, although that doesn’t sound good, it’s glorious.
