all athletes reach their potential at different points. Some are great in H.S. and suck in college, others are great in college, and suck in the minors, Apparently Bregs is just reaching his.

He’s not a late bloomer. He’s getting different coaching instructions.

Paul doesn’t believe that hitting instruction matters. “Either you can hit or you can’t”

His exact words. Hopefully that gives you some insight into our player development issues.

Dude he was a good at LSU but there were several much better in the SEC that year than him.

The fact that there’s no coaching of the nuances of hitting speaks volumes. Kids like Alex still shine but don’t reach their full potential. Not every kid is Alex. Coaching matters.

Fine tuning of swing mechanics. He creates so much torque with his core. I think sharing ideas with other seasoned pros helps as much as hitting coaches.
