Cause I have no interest in continually, post after post, day after day throwing an LSU QB under the bus for some sin you seem to think he has visited on the LSU football program, it doesn't follow that he is my son.

I'm just not as fond of eating my own as you seem to be, but whatever floats your boat.

No matter what stats you put in front of them, their opinion will never change.

I have a funny feeling they won't support Mett the next couple of years either.

Something tells me Randall will become their new favorite

A racist from Monroe...still calling for Tommy Banks to get 'da ball, with Collins, Faulk & Mealey in the Backield.

You're the one who really wants DiNardo back,Cock.

We had a staunch running game back then but no championships of any value were underway under his helm. I bet he can make some slamming arse Eye-talian food.

A. Not from Monroe
B. Not white
C. Not racist.
D. Them, they, and their are referring to JJ fanboys. No where in my post did I mention color. I was referring to JJ supporters favoring a "dual threat quarterback" instead of a true drop back passer. They always spit out his rushing yardage and say his passing yardage doesn't matter. Not surprising that you immediately jumped to throwing the race card though. Seems you're the racist.

I don't want Gerry back. Althought his place in LSU history cannot be denied. DiNardo did the leg work for the Cox contracts, etc. Brought back the Magic just like he said he wold. He lost 2 seasons in a row, much like Arky & now Ole Miss Coach Hootie Nutt did in 2004 & 2005

.

He went 6-2 in '97 & 98 in the SEC...better record than the 5-3 2001 team. He tattoed the guy who was took over for him 45-26.

Yeah you do. You liked LSU football better when the expectations weren't as high, before Saban took things to a whole new level with the BCS national title in January of 04.

a

And it was apparent to everybody that he lost the team in 1999 and was in need of employment at somewhere not at LSU.

But, not better than the combined SEC record of 2000 and 2001.

And now he makes lasagna for a living.

Naw..we got Big Les now. Expectations are irrationally high every year with him..he's produced.

Saban at best, was a hope for a 9 maybe 10 win season.

I dont know where race is coming in the picture. If you look at JJ's performances what is said about him by one of his receivers and his proclivity to pout on the sidelines neither of the three are traits I would want in a qb.

I only ask for a qb who can make the throws, lead the team in the huddle and on the sidelines and give us a chance to win games.

I really dont care what color he is. If we could have a Rohan Davey clone a Matt Flynn clone or a Herb Tyler clone to name three I would be fine with that. Hopefully either Mettenberger, Randall or Rivers will give us that. I have seen JJ for over 2 years and dont believe he has those traits.

Yep. Did you hear about when Les slipped Jimmy Ott some Peterson Picante on his Barksdale burger & turned the 'lil Otter red?

Les laughed that Ott was showing his true colors. This prompted Ron Cooper to put on some Cyndi Lauper "True Colors".

So with that logic if LSU had a Curley Hallman coaching (essentially JJ at qb was comparable to Curley Hallman as a coach). You would be on here talking about how we need to keep Curley and not look for a quality coach?

(I know JJ supporters will talk about 11-2 but when you are bad to horrible for 9 of the 13 games and are basically a drag on the offense and the team has to win in spite of you not because of you that is not contributing to the record).

Imagine what LSU's record would have been last year with a starting quarterback who contributed in most if not all the games??????????????

I heard about it the next day. PiscesTiger told me when I showed up for happy hour. He was making mad Dorsey Daquiris and had jungle juice in the back mixed with xanax and valium. Jordy and Herb VIncent carried me out that night and put me in Studrawa's car and dropped me off at the crib.

What QB in the Nation do you think could have played Defense & stopped P4P, Cameron Newton?

As far as I am concerned be it Mett, Randall or Rivers I will be a happy camper if any of the three turn out to be a Rohan, Flynn or Russell.

It has been since 07 when LSU has seen good qb play it would be nice if one of those guys could reacqaint Tiger fans with accurate passing, heady play and leadership on a regular basis soon.

Gotta stay away from the Dorsey Daquiri. It can't be combined with the Peterson Picante. If Piscestiger had served you a you a Flaming Jordy...it might have been fatal.
