You are one confused person. You stay off the bandwagon. I will go and watch this team and hope our QB doesn't suck and offense.

which is pounding the ball with the RBs, mixing in some option, and taking more shots downfield. I think we can be pretty successful doing that.

Taking a look at the offense over the past two years:

Passing yds - 2600 ('09) vs. 2200 ('10) = 2700 ('11)
Rushing yds - 1500 ('09) vs. 2400 ('10) = 2500 ('11)

Scoring pts - 323 ('09) vs. 365 ('10) = 450 ('11)

That would rank us around the top:

30 in total yards
20 in scoring

Do you guys really think the guy who could only put up 4 total yards against McNeese St, 47 against ULM and go 3-10 for 30 yards and 2 INT's vs Tenn, is going to magically turn into a competent qb?

We beat those two teams 83-10 with 3 different guys playing QB for us and both of those games came a week after BIG SEC wins.

You can concentrate on those 2 games if you want, but I think Fla, Bama, Old Miss, and Tex A&M say a lot more than McN. and UL@M.

Okay so you dont think it is telling he cant put up more than 4 yards against McNeese or 47 against ULM? He played significant minutes in both those games. You would think a decent qb could put up good numbers against those teams and part of the reason we played 3 qb's against those teams was because he wasnt getting the job done.

How about Vandy? West Va? Miss St? Tenn? Florida? Auburn? He couldnt even break 50 yards passing against Auburn? Arkansas - he couldnt get the ball in the end zone from the 9 in the 2nd half after the D set him up on a blocked punt. His Stats are below he was bad to horrible in 9 of 13 games last year. He had one good game the entire season where he didnt have 2 weeks or more to prepare (ole Miss).

To top it off you have one of his starting WR's saying it is all mental with Jordan. Do you seriously think it is a good idea going into a potential national championship season with a qb who the other players in the huddle knows has problems mentally focusing and executing each play? Read Shepherd's quote.

If pointing out JJ's stats and quotes from the players on the team offend you Mr Jefferson I guess I am bashing but maybe if he performed the stats wouldnt offend you.

Just wondering what everyone thinks the offense as a whole will do this upcoming year. I know we're still solid at he RB position and probably improved at the WR/TE positions. Without turning it into a QB controversy, how does this year's team offense improve/regress/or stay the same and why?

with a new offensive coordinator that looks like he will know how to use the talent you can expect a much more explosive offense this coming season. Looking better in every area than we have in some time. Probably the best depth of any team in the SEC at the QB position. a top notch recieving core, bigger and more physical o line, more explosive RB's. Outlook looks good.

Dude a misspell doesnt change what he said or JJ's stats. So Big Ed ...... Russell Shepard was quoted as saying it is all mental with JJ. There does that make you feel better?

Combined with that quote and JJ's putrid stats not like I can lose this argument.

We have a field general at OC with a loaded team. It's not
going to be hard to be successful if we can pound the rock and chunk it deep.

RUUUUUUDY!!!

YES YES YES The Great Basher returns.

quote:

Nope is he your son?

It looks like the family ploy is still in play. Good for you! You are right on track with the Basher Talking Points as usual. It's not used as often as other Basher Talking Points, but it never goes out of style does it? I mean it made you feel good to throw it out didn't it? It made me feel warm inside to see you use it yet again. That's the essence of Basherism; making ourselves feel good about our Bashing.

Then you follow up with the Mc Neese and ULM stats. You love those don't you? I love when you post them. No matter how many times (how many times HAVE you posted that, over 250?)it is always entertaining. It's almost like listening to the guy standing behind you in the Wal-Mart check out line humming an Elton John song. It just gets better and better no matter how often you do it, right? Pleeeese never stop putting it up. All of your fans will be so disapppointed. Promise?

quote:

How about Vandy? West Va? Miss St? Tenn? Florida? Auburn?

This is really a deal clincher. Pointing out those LSU losses to the Pumper is really in his face. BOOM!! I bet he will think twice before fu cking with you again. You are on a real macho high today, which is what we have come to expect from Bash Master. Keep that old Basher testosterone pumnping. Bashing is what makes us the men we are. Without a good daily Bash we are just........ well not the hardy men we are, right? We might be mistaken for reasonable and intelligent men. Heaven forbid. We have worked too hard on our Basher credentials. We don't want to be mistken for a lowly Pumper do we?

quote:

OOOOOOO wow what a knockout punch. Damn right!! Jefferson better learn who are the real powers around here. He needs to wake up and realize that we, the FANS, are the most important facet of the LSU program and anybody and yes every body damn well better believe that we have standards and anybody that doesn't acheive them will be in for unrelenting Bashing from the Basher Brigade. Never mess with a Basher. We are rentless. We demand than players bow down to the Basher Brigade or face the onslaught.

You are the epitome of the Basher mentality, Rudy. Just keep on posting those same old things. Do it over and over and over until the pumpers cave in. It doesn't matter how many times you post the same old things, the important thing is your obsession. The important thing is that posting them makes you feel empowered. The important thing is that posting them makes you feel significant.

Way to go Rudy

Thanks Cents. Though several may have stated how boring and old your posts are I for one love seeing the same old dither you post as well. I know it upsets you to post Jefferson's stats and what he says and what his teammates say about him but sorry those are his stats and he earned them no matter how much u dislike seeing it.

Dislike? Rudy. I love your posts. I look forward to them. There is no chance of any of them surprising me with originality or clarity. Just straight forward mindless obsession. That is in the true Basher spirit. Huzzah!

Jefferson had better change those stats or else ...... ummmm...or else what?

No matter. You need to post them more and more and more. It's what drives the Basher Brigade during these boring hot days of summer. We don't have practice reports to Bash about so we need to keep the Basher spirit up by Bashing old stuff. And you are a Basher Master at posting old stuff.

You are a true Basher role model.

Let's get technical then. What did you think of JJs throwing motion? How does it compare last year? How about his deep balls? On target yes? What about his footwork? Did you notice improvement? What about his reduction in body fat and increase in speed? Notice that?

How about the guys that really give a qb a chance to be good? Is the OLine getting younger or getting veterans back?are they getting injured or healthy? Are they getting better or worse next year? How about that rushing performance against TAMU when we got our guard back? Impressed?

Well any good qb needs a RB too. How's that youngin Spencer Ware doing these days? Does he seem
to give us an option even better than the guy who got us to the 3rd rushing offense in the SEC last year? (I think)

well guy? What do you think? Same ol shite? Or we gonna bring back A new banner this winter?
