Do the coaches have all the players together at a location or can they stay wherever they want to stay?

I would think it would depend a lot on the "time of the year" and the circumstances regarding the storm.

but out of harm's way when in season
use your best judgement out of season

I can’t say exactly where they all stay, but the LSU campus is one of the best places to be during a hurricane. It’s got buildings that were rated as bomb shelters, it’s own co-electrical plant, and can be converted into the world’s largest field hospital on short notice.

I was in a dorm building for Andrew in 1992, and you could barely tell there was a hurricane going on outside.

Not sure I would head to the Himes Hall basement during a flood.

The team was dismissed and allowed to return home. KV is home in Beaumont. KC, EM, MN are all back home in Houston.

I hate the initial usage for lesser known people. I’m over here trying to decipher your post.

I recall we stayed at Broussard Hall.

Place is a bomb shelter with generator power.

Sorry I can’t rattle off names based on initials. You’re a much better LSU fan than me, I give you praise.

Campus always got power back before the areas around it.

I was living on July St off of state. school had started back up and we still went another week without power.

I was in Kirby Smith for 1992 Andrew and you are right. Superfresh and other businesses nearby lost power and there were down trees. But by and large you didn’t know there was a hurricane from inside.

Heck, during Katrina a lot of families came and stayed with them in BR. Just packed in to their apartments or even dorms in a couple cases.

Kary Vincent, Jamar Chase, and Kristian Fulton went to houston. Ferrel back in bama. Couple others went home but there’s a good amount of them still on campus.
