Where did this Vitello hype come from

Don’t mean to start another thread but do y’all just hype up a different coach every week? It was Sully 2 weeks ago then Bianco last week, so who’s next week?

I don't think he would be a bad get, but would love to see somebody with more experience and success as a HC

Sully was mixed reception. Bianco was pretty much not wanted by the majority. Vitello has always been wanted by the majority here. Due to the fact Sexton is his agent though, I don’t believe it till I see it. This is classic Sexton shite.

Like who? With Vitello you have to look at the whole picture. He is fairly young in his coaching career, but his sample size shows major promise. You are potentially talking about hiring someone who could be here a few decades if he succeeds.
Could he be like a Herman, sure, but he could also be a dynasty guy that you can get fairly cheap now and lock in.

I don't disagree with this at all. He has major upside and I'm not sure who else I would want instead of him, but my ideal dandidate (that doesn't exist) would have a bit more experience.

I love Godwin but you act like he has a better resume than Vitello is stupid.
At least 1 and 2 have titles though neither are likely coming. 3 has built his program and could come.
4 is a west coast guy though not small ball but his year 2-4 were not LSU standards and it was a downward slide.

Vitello coaching success has nothing to do with why I don’t want him (While it’s not nearly as impressive as some people on this board make it out to be ) it’s the total lack of class his teams play is why I don’t want him.
Plus TV has been a head coach for only 3 years and took 1 junior and senior lead team to the CWS.
