The lsu ticket website is saying the game is a sellout. Since we all know its impossible for students to show up to games between semesters, at what point will lsu start selling student tickets to the general public? It will be pretty terrible to have totally empty upper sections of student seats and the rest of the pmac packed. Either way, I'm hoping the crowd will be as energetic as last year's kentucky game.

Look on third party sites there are plenty of tickets on sale. Last night i looked saw some in the 300 sections for around 20 bucks.

As a student I can confirm this, they sent out an email asking us to reserve student seats because they expected such high demand. You would be shocked, even during breaks, how many students would turn out. Many people stay in town (outside of christmas) and are already back. I myself am coming back early especially for this game. I would be surprised to see a partially filled student section.

I'm willing to bet that won't be the case for this game. Last season they were having to turn away students at the door. It probably won't be like that again, but I would bet that it will be full.

My daughter left for ski trip yesterday. I'm not sure if she went with the LSU crew, but I would imagine a good bit of people will be in Colorado. I still expect 0 student tickets to be sold to the general public.

It was packed to the rim for the ice dome game a couple years ago, so it'll be packed for this one as well.

the lsu ticket office says they don't expect to release seats in the student section to the general public. they said the students requested over 1000 tickets. If the line for students entering the PMAC is like it was for last years kentucky game, then the student section will be packed.

He's doing this tongue and cheek guys. Basically, for the other home games we've had about 20 students show up, now will miraculously have 1,500. It's stupid, and those cholos who think they're cool on the front row will certainly be there...even though they definitely missed other games.

It's a shame. My freshman year was when LSU went to the Final Four. Even before they went on that tear in conference play, the students still showed up much better than they have been in recent years. I think some of it has to do that back then student section was court side and up one of the corners, not on the baseline.

I'm sure the LSU ticket office has a plan in place in the event the top parts of the student section doesn't fill up by a certain time.

Yeah man what's with those damn students! Spending time with their families and stuff during breaks. Need to get their priorities straight.

I'm not so sure the game is a sellout... To me it looks like you can only purchase seats as part of the 5 game mini plan and not as individual game tickets.

Try buying using the 5 game mini plan...

There's 2 upper corners you can buy in, and the availability is low.

Pre-sold tickets to the game are sold out. However, similar to baseball games at Alex Box, a limited number of walk-up tickets may go on sale at or near tipoff based on seating availability.
