To hell with SEC championships, they mean nothing. We should be winning the national championship year after year. Nobody else has great talent, we have it all.

Funny though, I speak the truth. What in that post was falsified??

The reason we don't win the NC year after year

So do you expect to win the NCG "year after year"? Who else in the country wins it year after year? Bama and Florida both have 2 BCS titles, oh hey so do we. And we've been in the game 3 times, which is more than either one of those can say.

quote:

poor offensive output do NOT come from the players

So the dropped passes left and right aren't the players fault? Those are the coaches fault? The coaches can't make the plays for the players on the field.

How about the injuries? Clearly the injury to Faulk is affecting this team. He was going to be a top 20 pick in this years draft so you can't just replace that. That is affecting the running and passing game in a major way. Also, no Alfred Blue in there.

quote:

Cause South Carolina will pummel us worse than Florida did, and worse than on 1/9.

This isn't an opinion or anything.

You don't speak the truth. You are just another one of those fans who thinks LSU should win every single football game they ever play just because they are LSU. We should win the BCSNCG every single year and if we don't the season was a complete and utter failure.

This is always brought up, but don't you think the other top 10 to 15 programs could say the same thing?

You could argue that our recruiting style has lead to better depth than many of these teams. As a previous poster mentioned it is a tough task to even make it to the NC let alone win it.

sure, alleva should fire miles, pay him tens of millions of dollars in buy out and then find somebody better; somebody that will will nc's regularly. let's see, hmmm, who wins nc's regularly? you can make the arguement for saban but he's tied up right now. so, who's it to be?

your "solution" isn't a solution at all. in fact, it's a problem in itself. i hope you aren't running a company or anything.

The hard truth is our offense has sucked the last 5 years against SEC talent .
I've come the realization its the HC.
I might be off a W or L, but a 43-18 vs SEC career record says stfu.

As a season ticket holder since 1961, I've seen a lot of SEC football games. And watched a lot of SEC HC's. I know a bad HC, as I sat & watched Hallman, DiNardo, Stovall, Archer lose game after game after game. For the most part, at times when the SEC had good football teams, but nothing like it is today when you take a look at the Top 10 rankings the past few mths & yrs. CLM is winning at a 80% clip in the toughest division in the toughest conference in the country. And has gone heads up with Saban & Myers, 2 coaches considered the best in the business. Check out his record against those 2 geniuses. As fans we all have the right to bitch & whine, but when it gets to the point a few here want him fired, it's getting ridiculous. 19-2 says it well enough for me.

We didn't curb stomp the entire SEC last year. We didn't win the crystal because our offense is bad. Not because it looks bad. I was pissed afte 1/9 because I WANTED LES MILES to have two championships as LSU head coach. Just because fans want to see improvement on offense doesn't mean they want him fired, and it doesn't mean they're ignorant.

it comes from the coaching.

bullshite...if all our "talent" would have executed just three more plays we walk out of gainsville with a hard fought victory.

18 straight regular season victories accomplished playing in an elite conference says you are very, very wrong.

The fact that people are defending Miles and saying he doesn't need to tweak his philosophy a bit is laughable. I'm not saying fire him, but Alleva needs to tell Miles to hire a legit OC and get with the times. Running the ball up the gut trying to wear down the opponent will no longer work on teams like Bama, UF, UGA etc. Unless you guys are happy being an 8-10 win team every year. Instead of making a few changes and winning a title every once in awhile.

No one is a moron for arguing that the offense needs to improve.

[quote]Y'all act like we are losing every other game. That is what? 1 loss in 19 regular season games? I agree there needs to be changes, but the sky is not falling. [/

The thing I am upset about is that we were beaten by and inferior team and were out classes by the UF coach. Everyone is pissed because everything they thought or heard from Les Miles this year is falsified or at least seems to be at this time; and through 6 games.

A lot is left to be desired for the production on this team especially on offense and it seems it will remain thy way all season. I hope we can turn it around but I think we are at the point of no return.

It's not the losses, it's the way we play. You can't win them all all of the time. I don't mind a loss every now and then as long as we are playing hard and the coaches are putting the players in a position to win. This offense is painful to watch. It was after the regular season Alabama game last year and for the two years prior to that. You can't watch this offense and not bitch about it
