It's going to happen this football season. SECCG or playoffs?

I doubt it. All the talk before the season started I was thinking he would have 4-5 returns

Why y'all negative? Come on man. 12-0. The sky is blue even when it's not

All he needs to do is stand under the ball, wave his hand over his head, catch it, and let the offense do the rest.

Let's start with his first 5 yard return then we can progress from there.

When he decides to run it more than once every three games.

He hasn’t had a good return since Georgia Southern. I think Rakim Jarrett takes that job next year

Never because our shitty special teams coordinator tells them not to block.

Everyone downvoted me 4 games into the season when I suggested :
LSU with this offense should ONLY fair catch, EVERYTIME.

He wasn't being negative. All he did was say that he didn't think he would get one at this point. Which is probably true.

Not taking any from Stingley because I feel he's a once in a generational talent. But I would like see Palmer get a couple more shots.

I agree w/ giving Palmer a shot. Stingley, as fast as he is in coverage, looks like he’s jogging when he does return it, much like Giles did last year. It’s probably a comfort/feel issue.

They don’t want him returning unless it is wide open. Same with kickoffs. They don’t want to lose the ball when they know we can score whenever

He had like a 20+ yard return the first time he ever touched the ball. If you actually watched the games you'd know that

I like the thought process behind having him return punts--his athleticism can translate into a few big Matheiu-like returns.

However, as the season has gone on, the offense has proven to be so proficient, it's almost as valuable to have him safely fair catch most punts and let the offense do work (opposed to risking a fumble or a loss during a return).

With this offense, just fair catch it and make the catch. I think the staff has preached to him to make the catch is the priority. Don't be a hero.

don't see it happening at this point. I think the coaches would rather he fair catches the ball because our offense is so good. our punt return blocking has been very bad too imo. I'd love to see a repeat of Tyrann Mathieu vs UGA this weekend

I think he’s too valuable at corner and Palmer has been good there. I would have made the switch.

He was close early on in the year, but he’s now just 9.3 per return, which is average.
