I think there’s probably enough tape on him from high school and the OSU spring games where Ensminger can identify his strengths and go ahead and design an offense/scheme/plays/whatever that suit him without him actually being here.

But if he’s gonna start, he’s GOT to start developing chemistry and timing with our WRs and TEs, who will probably be the strength of the offense. If he graduates in May and can get down here by the 1st of June, that would give him 3 full months before the 1st game. But if he’s got to go to a summer session to graduate or if OSU’s spring semester—like Stanford’s, apparently—runs past LSU’s 1st summer session and he can’t enroll until July, that would really put him even further behind the 8-ball.

Anybody know? I’m late to this party, so it’s probably buried somewhere inside one of the 100s of threads already on him this week. TIA

I hope he is on campus June 1.

Tired of the fricking excuses. Get your OC (again), get your QB and get to fricking winning. Now.

None of this bullshite about how 2018 is a bridge year with JM until MB gains 50 pounds or LN learns the playbook (is there even a playbook at this point??)

O has HIS OC, HIS WR coach, HIS OL coach, HIS shadow staff, now give him HIS QB and let the fricking clock start NOW.

Win or GTFO and get an offensive coach in here who can do what we should have been doing two years ago.

Please please PLEASE let us sign this kid.

Either we win big immediately with him or O has signed his own pink slip.

Either way it’s good for LSU

I thought he’d already graduated... even if not, from what I’ve read, I know he’s going to make a decision by the end of May so that he can be working out with the new team by the start of June.

I'm sure if he decides LSU is where he wants to be that the coaches will give/send him copies of the offense system to study until he arrives full time.

High character individual. He's a good runner and while I don't think he has outstanding arm strength he has enough and has outstanding touch on his passes. Intermediate throws are generally spot on and hit the receiver in stride. I think he'd be a great addition to LSU and hope for the best for him. He represented my university in an outstanding manner and there was never a hint of trouble or problems. He also handled the quarterback situation at Ohio State in a professional manner.

For the SEC defense comments. He's practiced against one of the most talented and highly regarded defenses in the nation for several years and against a defense that has as much speed as any defense in the country. He's game ready.

The "See spot run" playbook should be a breeze to memorize in all of 5-10 minutes.

what "excuses" and why the anger? I haven't heard the players or coaches make excuses for anything.

again, what are you talking about? what clock? Coach O took over in 2016, 5th game of the season. That is when coach O became responsible for the team. He actually became head coach right after the 2016 season. He was coach of 2017 team and will be of the 2018 team.

with or with out Burrows we need to win and show improvement over last season and continue moving in the right direction.

Boxcar, I was thinking the same exact thing. I share his enthusiasm for wanting to win, as I do with LSU every year. But this attitude or sentiment of "win big immediately or fire him" is just strange. Dude needs to relax.
