When did we (LSU) take last names of the back of our baseball uniforms?

I like jerseys without the names...if you're good enough they'll know your name.

I guess Bianco hopes no one knows his name.

To the contrary... It makes them look old school professional. First, the name on the front is the only one that matters. Next, traditionally teams didn't need to wear their names at home because their fans could identify them by their number.

Yes.

Less is best with pinstripes.

Not a Yankee fan but that is a classic uniform.

Also, road gray pinstripes is totally unacceptable.

Hadn't noticed it, but now that I think about it I believe that the young men representing our university ought to damned well be recognized by their names on their jerseys. They wear the LSU name brand and LSU ought to let them wear their own name brand as they represent us.

I really really really wish we’d swap out our Saturday purples for the pin stripes. Those jerseys are way too good to only wear for mid week games. Even if we only did it every other series or something to still keep the purples in rotation for weekends I’d be cool with that. The purples are just kind of plain.
