re: When are the O haters going to start giving CEO some props?
Not even if he wins big games...
if/when that happens, they will switch to "season's record"
if that is goo, they will quote "lifetime record"

a lot of these people have
"a good reason" which they will use and "the real reason" which they will not disclose

for me, he is LSUs coach for now, an employee, just like Miles.
with a job to do.
I wish him well.
LSUs future goes as Coach Os future goes.

I’ll be happier when they are committed and in school; not just high school kid committed.

He is bringing them to the table though.

The only way he starts getting any legit credit from the anti-O LSU fan base is to win the West & compete in the SEC Championship game at a minimum.
Just got that much harder because he doesn't have an almost automatic win against A&M. Sumlin gone now. Fisher will get the most out of the talent...…...

Kid sounds like a solid player. Good job coach. Keep it up.

You should really try to keep up. Most of the people you call "haters" believe LSU has the talent to win 10 games this year and believe the offense has a chance to be very good if Ensminger does his job.

This narrative you're trying to create is weird. Everyone knew the man could recruit. We all hope it translates into wins. These threads you start just bring out more ridiculous arguments.

Yes sir I couldn't agree more. Every "hater" that ive seen post recently thinks it could be a great year with the talent on this roster. I don't get these posts.

I think recently is probably an important distinction. It's taken some people a while to get over some of the sting of the losses last year. But, as far as offseasons go, the man seems to have a done a good job. It's tough to gauge the Ensminger hire yet, but most are giving him the chance people have been begging for.

When will the Orgeron nut sack lickers start giving him some hate? He literally killed the only recruiting class that he was fully responsible for so far, he lost to Troy, finished with four losses, and lost to a very average team in the bowl game. Let us see if he can actually "sign" a SEC champ caliber class and have a season that is better than the norm for the last coach who was fired. Props will be given for results, rather than hypotheticals and hope. I hope that everyone will be giving him props next year, because that will obviously mean that the team has succeeded.

Gotta say this coach and staff look like they are putting together something really special. I’m going to be optimistic.

Mack Brown killed it in recruiting year in and out but he was ultimately fired because he could do shite with that talent. Winning in recruiting don't mean shite if you don't win.

Actually this is what did Mack in, in the end. His recruiting suffered and they didn't have the same talent. That's why Charlie Strong had such a hard time winning, he finally started to get the guys he needed but there was little improvement in the W-L columns. Which now they have Herman and hes continuing to build off the players strong got.

I've been struggling with this because I've never really counted the interim year, but the NCAA does in his overall record. IMO, the coaching pressures are just completely different.

However, I think he deserves a ton of credit for keeping the recruits on board and I believe that should be reflected on his resume somehow. The Florida loss was bad as well, how should that be reflected? The Louisville win was impressive as well. Since he was full time coach, where does that get attributed in the records?

Hmm, only one group is apparently fine with a precious resource (i.e., LSU’s head coaching position) being handed out to someone who is undeserving and hadn’t worked for it or otherwise earned it with past performance.

Let’s face it, the O sycophants are full on SJW progs if you want to make stupid political analogies.

He's doing well in recruiting. Now he has to translate that to field. Don't lose to Troy's and beat Bama.
